José Carayol is an international ballet master and judge. Trained with full scholarship at the world renowned “Real Conservatorio Professional de Danza de Madrid” in his native country Spain. Mr Carayol’s professional career commenced with the Ballet Carmen Roche and Victor Ullate Ballet.

 

Whist performing national and international tours he was mentored by Cuban stars Orlando Salgado and Marta García. José danced many highly acclaimed roles with Ballet Iñaki Urlezaga, Semper Oper Ballet and the world renowned Royal Opera House in London. His career took him all over the world performing and mastering the Ballet Repetoire: Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, Don Quixote, Carmen, Paquita, Cinderella, amongst many others.

 

Mr Carayol's extensive knowledge in different ballet schools, techniques and styles and his attentive eye for detail makes him a desirable international master teacher, coach and judge. His students can be found continuing their careers at the greatest ballet schools, companies and college education programs.

 

He continues to further his education of pedagogical and teaching practices by constantly attending seminars and teaching courses at the Royal Ballet School and American Ballet Theater. Mr Carayol completed all of the Royal Academy of Dance examinations with Distinction. Additionally, he is a fully certified and affiliated teacher of the American Ballet Theater NTC and part of their ABT® Project Plie. 

 

He continues to inspire young dancers around the country and spread his love for the art of classical ballet.
