Venue Protocols

The Joan B. Kroc Theatre is aligned with the County mask guidance and requires proper-fitting masks for everyone (audience/staff/performers) regardless of vaccination status while indoors. Masks are required in all public spaces, including dressing rooms, warm-up rooms, and on stage during on-stage warm-ups and Soloist Master Classes.

Performers may unmask (while performing only) if they have provided proof of being fully vaccinated or a negative PCR test from within 72 hours of that date. If they elect to remove their mask while performing, they must have a plastic bag with their name written on it (preferably in Sharpee) so their mask can be sealed, labeled, and left side-stage while they are performing on the stage. Competitors are asked to reverence then exit the stage on the same side from which they entered so they can immediately put their mask back on after performing.

No special capacity/spacing restrictions are in place currently at this venue.

We will follow the State and County mandate regarding temperature checks at each location; additional information regarding this precautionary step (and others, as needed) will be emailed to all participants closer to the event weekend, as well as added to this page.

Please check back for updates.
